Purchased to go with maxi cosi Mico 12 capsules for twins. Website is very unlcear saying it is compatible with maxi cosi Mico which isn’t a capsule style in Australia so wrongly made the assumption all mico styles would work. Spent lots of money on capsules to find that one side doesn’t fit as the capsule hits the pram frame and doesn’t click in. Customer support were extremely unhelpful just saying that only the Mico style fits (which doesn’t exist in aus) and then got no further reply. Very disappointed. But also very hard to attach capsule as adaptors fold in.

The attachment cannot be fixed to the frame in the way prescribed in the instructions as it has not been made in the necessary size. The size/position of the component changes frame by frame in the instructions to make each image work. If fixed on in the best way you can then the clip is unstable. I had to secure mine with cable ties which worked fine for the week in which I needed to use it but if you need to frequently swap between your normal buggy and car seat attachments this would not help you. I looked at some photos of this on retailers websites and they show that pram as I set it up (without the cable ties) rather than how it is shown in the manufacturer instructions. Pretty major design fault in my opinion. I gave two rather than one star because once I “fixed” it the whole set up worked well for me on our family trip.

We purchased a mountain buggy duet thinking it would work as a travel system for our twins. Here are a few reasons why the stroller is great as a double stroller, but don't use it as travel system. First, the clips on this system fall down easily and it's hard to clip in without being able to actually look at the clips. Maybe there is a learning curve here with that, but it's definitely not something easy or intuitive. I've only done it with empty car seats, but add a little weight, wiggling, and crying and it's certainly not going to get easier. Second, the weight limit is 28lbs - so based on the models this clip connects with (and you can apply this the universal car seat adapter as well) 9 lbs of car seat +21 lbs of baby. So, this gets you through maybe half the life of the infant car seat according to it's own specs.

With two sets of twins, anything that helps save me time and provides less stress is a win in my book! School pickups; clip and go. Short errands; clip and go. Simple... yet oh so effective!
